Lighthouse 04:24
I died in a dungeon dark and damp and all After the sight was taken from my head So typical of my family I've gone crazy here Slowly but surely the light came back He brought me drawings that could free me Came I to a lighthouse and a hermit's life My glory yet before me I left on a stormy day into the sea A rickshaw vessel beneath my feet My will was to make small changes in the scenery I command my surroundings I went in search of my fair Avalon My mind's eye hazy but mine eyes could see The pieces falling in familiarity I remember her I see it in their faces but I'm not the man they remember Time has changed me, I can't explain it It's written in their gazes, they know the beast that lurks underneath So afraid they try to hide it from me but I will not abandon this post willingly I lead me an army out onto the black road I fought the demons up unto their gate Came I to the goat-head man, he cackled gleefully Said I created him

We aren't all just sheep in need of saving Some are lost and others are wandering, grazing Once we've had our fill of the local fauna Onward plodding, never done The markets are failing, their pensions deflating The American daydream a phantom in white weave And all the while barons are hoarding their money Slowly raising buildings to the sky People, there're so many people You forgot that in numbers they hold the power I can hear their voices drowning your laughter And slowly, steadily they'll pull you Downward into the mud maw Your prophets were golden and now they're all lead weight I can see the suits riding subways with addicts The difference indiscernible to me
3.
We should've paid attention to the weirdest light in the monochrome places If only you found the right brain you could start all again, you'd do better next time around The second you make the wrong move they can do anything, it's a curious standard We could've stopped hours ago now we're causing this emotion, why all this commotion now? On the way to the sound I fuck it up all the time We could rely on our basest fears to make us smarter than them to make us brilliant someday Tell them what they don't want to hear, yeah the people are broken the church is all broken now Now I see it in a different light Hit me with the changes Help me rearrange the white noise Can you fake it? Consequences keep us at a standstill Now I see it in a different light Hit me with the changes Help me rearrange the white noise Can you fake it? Consequences keep us at a standstill Take what you can carry leave the lights on It's alright, it's alright

Well the useful parts are all silent It's hard to imagine it If you wait too long then they'll be gone, cold feet Will make you afraid of it I want to see their minds blown with tribal sounds All across the boroughs By a teacher who can pacify, oh every Mother's son and daughter To plant a seed For a new world order With no resentment I will I will follow your lead as long As you lead me to water Then you and I'll be free in our Noisy smoke filled rooms To pursue our Need for a new word Ever reaching upward
5.
Old Demeter 04:10
Old Demeter, she's got a fever Her last lover planted the seed She's been smoking since 1750 Slowly rotting from in her belly Oden's bleeding, slowly receding But there's no time to be creating Hordes roam free regardless of slaughter Holy God they're after my daughter Oh you can slow the motion but you can't turn around Oh every time you think you see it, it's gone Holy rollers, they took us over Driving us all into the water Holy shit I think we're devolving Oh you can slow the motion but you can't turn around Oh every time you think you see it, it's gone
6.
His tiny features make me remember Just what's at stake here and what I shouldn't say Time has made us so damn mean We speak to each other through clenched teeth And building up to the venom Of every day conversation I'll be a pillar I'll try to steady Lay it all onto me My reaction will be the Greatest play I ever made You're so graceful now that you're a mother We aren't the same kids who fell in love Why's it surprising that our hearts evolved You pronounce it like a bad taste It's unkind but at the same time If you belong to yourself What do you owe to anyone else I'll be a pillar I'll try to steady Lay it all onto me My reaction will be the Greatest play I ever made You're so graceful now that you're a mother
7.
Out in the streets there's people throwing shit around Knocking statues to the ground, it's an ordinary day Put on your bowler cap and drive your chevaline Steal the wonderful machine that you made while you were sleeping The molecular design documented in your mind All the radios are on a different song We have 50 microphones and still no one sings along Recommend the kerosene, burn it slow to build the dream I will lie, I will lie, I will lie so you're safe I will think, I'll imagine a harrier jump jet to take us away from all this Same old totem, same old totem This is the same old totem, same old totem It's not too obvious for prime time radiation On that day, oh that day we can make up for that When they breathe they can breathe all the noxious fumes That we send out on our way
8.
I'm on the ride, I'm making all the right calls I'll see you Saturday Familiar faces shining brightly into me All the lamppost eyes For me it's day to day Always falling in the same way As you did when we first met Homesteading in the modern world Big lawn and green life Smiling faces streaming powers into me Violet Rays To me it's day to day Always falling in the same way As you did when we first met You were full of life's ambitions And now you're drained of them
9.
Brace, brace for the harder times ahead, surprises later Pull together, steel yourselves and run Collar up against those bright lights shining Tame, tame, tame your racing hearts and minds be still Morena Half the time and space you travel in place Fake, fake, fake it for the world arise my generation Feel it for the third world nations, reel them into you Bring their eyes oh Brahma Jesus resurrect us Brahma Jesus resurrect us Brahma Jesus resurrect us Brahma Jesus resurrect us Brahma Jesus resurrect us
